Peach and Cynthia Reynolds

Since 1985, the founders of Kaleido Properties, Peach and Cynthia Reynolds, have lived in the heart and soul of Austin, the Zilker neighborhood. Their knowledge of central Austin paired with their friendly, efficient service has earned them a large market share of home sales in the Zilker and Barton Hills area. Having helped hundreds of people buy and sell homes in these neighborhoods, repeat business and referrals from satisfied homeowners have driven their success over the years.

The name Kaleido Properties is based on another of Peach's interests, kaleidoscopes. Peach developed what was at one time the world's largest handmade kaleidoscope business, Kaleidoscopes by Peach. This business continues today as Kaleidovisions, run by his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Carol Reynolds. Although Peach moved on from making kaleidoscopes himself, the name lives on, Kaleido Properties. Peach still gets a kick out of seeing his old "scopes" in people's homes while on the job, and he still dabbles in Kaleido Photography, having had calendars of his photos published by Calendar Club, Calendars.com since 2011.

Peach, an avid golfer, who was on the same UT team that included Ben Crenshaw and Tom Kite, likes to compete in local, regional and national golf tournaments (and taught his son, Jay, everything he knows), loves anything outdoors including rowing, swimming, biking, running, launching rockets and gardening. Cynthia enjoys cooking, gardening, biking, swimming, walking with her friends and being an ambassador to Austin, as co-owner of Zilker Vacations, their Vacation Rental business. Peach and Cynthia both enjoy volunteering for Keep Austin Fed, where they rescue food that would otherwise be going to waste and deliver it to those who can use it, such as the South Austin Community Center, Community Foundations or Safe Place, to name a few recipients.

Peach and Cynthia have two children. Jay is a graduate of the University of New Mexico where he was a nationally ranked collegiate golfer. He is currently co-owner with us of Zilker Vacations and owner of Vacation Cake, where he manages Vacation Rental properties in Austin. Sarah graduated from UT”s Nursing School in 2014 and currently works at New York Presbyterian hospital and hopes to continue performing in musical theatre, as she did over the years in Austin.

We look forward to hearing from you!
